Relationship between ICAM-1, et, TXB2, 6-keto-pgf1α and Deep Vein Thrombosis in Patients with Pelvic Fracture

Abstract

This explores the relationship between adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1), plasma endothelin (ET), thromboxane B2 (TXB2), 6-keto-prostaglandin F1 α (6-keto-pgf1α) and deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in patients with pelvic fracture.DVT was found in 39 patients with pelvic fracture. The levels of ICAM-1, et and TXB2 in DVT group were higher than that in DVT group on day 1 and 3 after operation, and the levels of 6-keto-pgf1α in DVT group on day 1 and 3 after operation were lower than that in DVT group on day 1 and 3 after operation, all of the above differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The levels of ICAM-1, et and TXB2 in the DVT group were higher than those in the non DVT group on the first and third day after operation, and the levels of 6-keto-pgf1α in the DVT group were lower than those in the non DVT group on the first and third day after operation (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in ICAM-1, et, TXB2, 6-keto-pgf1α levels between DVT group and non DVT group (P > 0.05). The levels of ICAM-1, et, TXB2 and 6-keto-pgf1α were significantly correlated (P < 0.05), and 6-keto-pgf1α was negatively correlated with ICAM-1, et and TXB2 (P < 0.05). The levels of ICAM-1, et and TXB2 were the risk factors of deep vein thrombosis in patients with pelvic fracture, and the level of 6-keto-pgf1α was the protective factor of deep vein thrombosis in patients with pelvic fracture. The levels of ICAM-1, et, TXB2 and 6-keto-pgf1α in patients with DVT after pelvic fracture operation were all changed. ICAM-1, et, TXB2 and 6-keto-pgf1α can be potential and valuable predictors of DVT, which is of great significance to prevent complications.
