Qingfei Baoyuan Decoction Improves Pulmonary Function in Patients with COPD by Targeting Smads Signaling Pathway

For a chronic inflammatory disease, the occurrence and development of COPD is closely related to airway
remodeling. Fibroblast proliferation, goblet cell hyperplasia, collagen and aminoglycan deposition, mucinous
gland hyperplasia and hypertrophy are all involved in the airway of COPD. Remodeling, TGF-1 participates in
and regulates these pathological processes. This article analyzes the Qingfei Baoyuan Decoction to improve
lung function in patients with COPD by targeting smads signaling pathway. The results showed that the clinical
symptoms of the two groups were better than those before treatment, but the treatment group improved the
symptom of the patients better than the control group; the lung function of the two groups was improved
compared with before treatment. In addition, the treatment group The values of FEV1 and FEV1/FVC in
patients with lung function were higher than those in the control group; the body mass index of the two groups
did not change significantly before and after treatment. Traditional Chinese medicine compound can downregulate
the expression level of related cytokines by regulating NF-kB/TGF-1 /Smad2 signal transduction,
improve airway remodeling, and the effect is better than aminophylline, which has a good long-term effect.
