Clinical Effects of Rehabilitation Brace and Exercise Training on Patients with Degenerative Knee Osteoarthritis

Abstract

To explore the actual clinical effect of rehabilitation braces combined with exercise training on patients with
degenerative knee osteoarthritis. The control group received conventional physical therapy, the observation
group received rehabilitation brace combined with exercise training, and the changes of serum inflammatory
factors, VAS and Lysholm knee function, clinical efficacy, and patient satisfaction were observed before and
after treatment in the two groups. There was no difference in inflammatory factors between the two groups
before treatment (P> 0.05). The observation group was better than the control group after treatment (P <0.05).
There was no difference in VAS score and Lysholm knee function index between the two groups before
treatment (P> 0.05). The observation group was better than the control group (P <0.05). The total effective rate
of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P <0.05). The total satisfaction
of the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P <0.05). Rehabilitation brace combined
with exercise training has a definitive effect on degenerative knee osteoarthritis, effectively improves
inflammatory factors, VAS scores and Lysholm knee function, and has high patient satisfaction and great
clinical value.
