Abstract

The effect of 3D printing in the treatment of scoliosis patients was analyzed. Surgical treatment was performed
by 3D printing technology. Patients in the observation group were performed surgical treatment by 3D printing
technology. The time of nail placement, the amount of blood loss during surgery, the accuracy of nail placement,
nerve, vascular injury, pain, and patients were compared between the two groups. Satisfaction and quality of life.
The time of nail placement in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P
<0.05); the blood loss of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P <0.05),
and the accuracy of nail placement was significantly higher in the observation group than in the control group.
(P <0.05); the pain of patients in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P
<0.05); the satisfaction of the patients in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control
group (P <0.05); the quality of life of the patients in the observation group was significantly higher than that of

complications such as nerve, blood vessel and visceral injury occurred in the two groups. In the treatment of
scoliosis orthopedic patients, the application of 3D printing technology has significant effects. Faster nail
placement during surgery, lower intraoperative blood loss, higher accuracy, lower pain and higher patient
satisfaction The quality of life is significantly better. At the same time, the patient has no complications and has
high safety. It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
